What we collect

• Account data: email, name, affiliation, position, optional ORCID iD and profile links.
• V-Lab data: goals, budgets, resources, materials, rounds, measurements, files and agent transcripts you or your team add.
• Registration data: answers you give to an event host's questions.
• Usage data: page views (with a daily-rotating anonymous visitor ID), referrer and country.

AI agents and model providers

When you or a teammate runs an agent, the lab's goal, criteria, resources, materials (names, details and links) and recent rounds are sent to the language model provider configured for this site (currently Alibaba Cloud Model Studio) to generate the response. Uploaded files are not sent. We don't use your lab data to train models.

How we use it

To run the service, deliver emails you've asked for (sign-in codes, invitations, tickets, reminders), show PIs and hosts who joined or registered, and keep the platform safe.

Who sees it

Members of a V-Lab see its workspace. Public V-Labs show the goal, team, agents and round outcomes to everyone; records, files and transcripts stay with members. Event hosts see the name, email and answers of people who register. Your email is never shown publicly.

Your choices

Manage notification preferences in Settings, unsubscribe from any email, leave or delete a V-Lab you lead, and delete your account at any time.
